Amalfi and Ravello, 意大利的第八天

一早起床，走進客廳便看見 Rachele 已經把早餐準備好。桌子佈置得很幽雅。今天同桌還有一對捷克的年青人，他們很友善，又推介我們到他們的國家旅遊。


Rachele 希望我們嘗到南意風味的食物，特意訂了這個 Cannoli.  Cannoli 是 Southern Italy 的特色糕點，在 Sicily 是很受當地人愛戴 ，脆皮內是 ricotta cream, 再用 apricot 佈置，很美，真不捨得吃呢！記得在 movie "Godfather" 裡有一句經典的 quote  "Leave the gun.  Take the cannoli".  不知道 Cannoli 能不能化解恩怨, 只知道香甜的口感確實能讓人感覺幸福. 愛吃甜點的人都知道, 意大利甜點是歐式甜點之奇葩, Cannoli 則是意大利最經典的點心之一。For us...just a bit too sweet ^ ^ but we really appreciate the kindness of Rachele.

Rachele 的屋子佈置得很漂亮優雅。在吃早餐時，Rachele 教我們怎樣坐巴士往 Amalfi，又借給我們地圖及有關旅遊書，她特別提議我們一定要往 Ravello，說那兒非去不可，很美的山城小鎮，絕不能錯過！由於今日會沿 Amalfi Coast 遊 Amalfi 及 Ravello，Rachele 提議我們買 Unico Costiera 24 hours 車票，可以在 24 小時內無限次坐巴士 (7.2 euros)，並提醒車票需要在車站下面的報紙店才有售。Rachele 還擔心我們買錯 ticket，借給我們様本作參考。Rachele 真細心呢。

Rachele 的媽媽是一位畫家，屋內掛了很多她媽媽的作品。

吃過早餐後，我們便坐 Circumvesuviana 到 Sorrento，SlTA Bus 站就是在 Sorrento 車站對面，不難找。站前的牆上有原裝意大利文的 "Come Back to Sorrento"，我在等巴士時不停的啍唱，我真的很喜歡這首曲調呢！

這是 Sorrento 至 Amalfi 的發車時刻表。從 Sorrento 至 Amalfi 大概需時一小時半。

巴士到了！我們會坐到 Amalfi 總站才下車！我特別挑了右邊靠窗的坐位，可以看沿途風景嘛！

聯合國教科文組織敘述 Amalfi – Amalfi Coast 的狹長地帶環境優美、自然景觀豐富多彩，從中世紀早期開始就已經有人類聚落，像 Amalfi 這樣的小城，擁有不少重要的建築和藝術作品。農地也因為多樣的地理環境性而被充分利用，偏下的坡地由階梯式的葡萄園和果園構成，上方的坡地則是牧場。，並於 1997 年列入世界文化遺產名單。在 1999 年美國 National
Geographic Travelers 雜誌經過兩年嚴格審查，也將 Amalfi Coast 列入五十個真正的旅人此生必遊之地。

沿著狹窄的瀕海公路，巴士蛇行於陡岸峭壁之間，看著車窗外蜿蜒的海岸線和懸崖峭壁，每一個轉彎所呈現在我們面前的美景，都讓我們無法把視線移開。Amalfi Coast 是屈指可數漂亮且多樣化的自然景觀之一。

還差大概十分鐘便到達 Amalfi 了！

沿海公路 SS163。公路九曲十三彎，沿岸有很多岬角，景色美麗，懸崖高山像度屏障，巴士行走其中，相當驚險。聽說在夏天繁忙時間，這條公路經常塞車！

到達 Amalfi 了。假若在夏天，整個Amalfi 都會濟滿遊客！其實太多人不好，我反而喜歡現在這裡的寧靜。

走進廣場旁邊的臺階頂上的主教堂 (Duomo)。The Cathedral of St Andrew is a highly unique
cathedral full of interesting sights. Built in the early 1200s, the
cathedral features a dramatic location atop a steep flight of stairs, an
Arab-influenced exterior, and the relics of St. Andrew the Apostle in
its crypt. Connected to the cathedral is an older basilica (now a small
museum) and the fascinating Cloister of Paradise, both containing
medieval murals.

這是 St Andrew. St. Andrew is the patron saint of Amalfi as well as Scotland and Russia. Numerous miracles have been attributed to St. Andrew's
intercession over the centuries. On June 27, 1544, a sudden surge in the
ocean sunk the ships of Ariadeno Barbarossa, who had attacked Amalfi
and Salerno.  June 27 has been a feast day in Amalfi ever since.

遊人不多，不喜歡走路的可以坐觀光巴士。

意大利是天主教國家，經常會見到 Precepe.  Precepe 的意思是nativity scene, which is by far the most important and central piece of Christmas
decor in a Neapolitan house. The Neapolitan Precepe is very large, and
made of papier mâché and then covered with bark, moss, and cork to give
it a rustic look.  要留意以下 photo， the traditional Nativity with Mary, Joseph, the Three Wise
Men, and the Archangel are the most important part of the Neapolitan
Presepe. Baby Jesus is NEVER placed into the Precepe until Christmas Eve.

商量下一站往 Ravello。這個地圖是 Rachele 借給我們的。

休休閒閒吃過午餐後，便結賬往 Ravello。

這是 Amalfi 至 Ravello 的時刻表，大概半小時車程。

巴士沿着山徑往上爬，到達美麗的 Ravello 了！據書說：Ravello 是你所能想像到最浪漫、最美麗的小鎮。它坐落在有梯田的陡峭山坡上——正如法國小說家 André Paul Guillaume Gide 所描繪的那樣，“Ravello is closer to heaven than it is to the shore”。這裡有茂盛的花園、寧靜的小巷、陽光充足的寂靜角落以及高達1148 ft (350m) 的最高點，你可欣賞到下方蔚藍色的海濱那難忘的風景。

自古以來 Ravello 就是 poets and writers 避暑休閒尋找創作靈感之地，小鎮立於懸崖之上，可以俯視蜿蜒美麗的 Amalfi 沿岸，鎮裡花團錦簇，隨處可見美麗的私家花園，其中 Villa Rufolo 和 Villa Cimbrone 兩座花園更是因為吸引過許多古今詩人和作曲家的稱讚而名聲大噪。

先參觀 Villa Rufolo。Villa Rufolo:  It is the masterwork in Ravello's extensive repertoire of historical and architectonic showpieces.  It bears the name of the family which created it, and at the height of its importance in the 13th century it could boast "more rooms than there are days in the year".

Villa Rufolo 位於 Ravello 的鎮中心，已有超過800年的歷史，許多著名作家和詩人都曾在自己大作中提及 Rufolo 的美麗，每年的 Ravello Music Festival 期間，Rufolo 都會在夜間舉辦交響樂會，而演奏的地方正是峭壁之上種滿鮮花的海景台，想想吧，深夜、海風、花香、古堡、交響樂...太美好了，這才是人生。

Below is Il Chiostro: It is a moorish courtyard, originally laid out round three sides but with only thirty-six small columns measuring its full height and two arches with six twin columns on the lefthand side still standing.

Il Pozzo:  The area around Il Pozzo is the feature of the Villa that entranced Richard Wagner.  He was moved to exclaim that he had found the magical garden of Klingsor", for it was the tangible expression of his most fantastic visions.

This is the place for the Ravello Festival:  Breathless and matchless panorama!!!

在 Ravello 小鎮的山崖盡頭還建有另一座更為古老的花園 Villa Cimbrone。



Villa Cimbrone 是在的最高位置，要再往上行。

這座規模更大的花園也同時是 luxury
hotel，甚至還有臨海的直升機停機坪，Cimbrone 有著 Ravello 最美的海景台，據說建造花園的材料來自於 Italy
各地的建築碎片，再經建築師巧手組裝而成，這座美麗的花園也是無數次的出現在名人墨客的詩詞歌賦中，被描繪的如同桃源仙境。

很多出名的人都在這裡住過：包括英國首相 Winston Churchill, 影星 Greta Garbo 及英作家 Virginia Woolf.

這裡是 The Tea Room.

The tea room is 開放的 pavilion。在 tea room 前，有一個 old stone well....can I make a wish?

我們整個行程都很順利，到達 Amalfi 時剛剛有巴士正準備開回 Piano di Sorrento (no need to transfer from Sorrento ^ ^)。

海岸，夕陽西下的神光，遠處還看見 Capri。

回到 Piano di Sorrento，晚餐了！

在意大利進餐, red wine 怎能缺少！
